Getting Things Done: Evolution of the Built Environment in Vorarlberg

Vorarlberg is the most westerly and the smallest of all the federal states in Austria. It has borders with southern Germany, Switzerland, and the Principality of Liechtenstein and has a population of a little over 375,000 inhabitants. Its capital, Bregenz, is situated on Lake Constance. The region has seen its building culture develop along a special path with a movement beginning in the late 1950s and early 1960s that has been labelled the Vorarlberger Bauschule (Vorarlberg School of Building), a name that resonates far beyond local and national borders and is now represented by a relatively high density of quality architecture. For more info about the project, visitGetting Things Done Website
