Who founded GALERI PETRONAS?
GALERI PETRONAS was established in 1992 by PETRONAS (Petroliam Nasional Berhad), Malaysia's national oil and gas company. The gallery was created to support PETRONAS' commitment to promoting, developing and preserving Malaysian contemporary art, and contributing to the development of a holistic Malaysian society.
When is GALERI PETRONAS opening to the public?
GALERI PETRONAS is currently offering a preview experience through The First Glimpse exhibition at Ombak KLCC, opening in August 2026. The full permanent gallery will open in phases starting June 2027, with complete operations by early 2028.
