Pameran Kesultanan Perak (The Perak Sultanate Exhibition) showcases the Perak Royal Institution, its historical background and the significant role it played in the formation of Perak, which is one of the states in Malaysia. The exhibition is held in conjunction with the 84th birthday of the D.Y.M.M. Paduka Seri Sultan Perak, Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuf Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-Lah and under the patronage of the D.Y.T.M. Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah ibni Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah. Apart from the collaboration between the Perak State Government and GALERI PETRONAS, the exhibition also relied heavy on the involvement of the members of the Perak Royal Family, in particular the Raja Puan Muda of Perak, Raja Nor Mahani binti Raja Shahar Shah, who is the coordinator and facilitator of the exhibition. The exhibition aims to increase public awareness and understanding towards the Perak Royal Institution. Through this exhibition, the public is given the rare opportunity to learn more intimately about the Perak royalty, especially on the Perak Sultanate's many contributions towards development of the state, the upholding of Islam and the promulgation of knowledge.
