Every visit to our gallery is a shared experience. We want everyone to feel comfortable and inspired during your time with us. To ensure a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for all, we have outlined a few simple guidelines to help you make the most of your visit.

Please take a moment to review these guidelines before exploring the exhibition:
  • Leave your belongings such as backpacks and strollers at the designated area
  • Eating and drinking is not allowed
  • Smoking is not allowed
  • Touching any artworks on display is not allowed
  • Keep your voice down while going through the exhibition
Visiting Guidelines

Is photography permitted?

Photography for personal use is generally allowed. However, flash, tripods,
and video recording are not permitted. Please note that using the photos for commercial purposes (including product sales) is strictly prohibited.
Changing outfits for photography purposes inside the gallery is not allowed.

Can I touch the artworks?

You are not allowed to touch the artworks unless instructed otherwise.

Can I bring food and drink to the Gallery?

Food and drink are not allowed. We offer food and drink at GALERI PETRONAS
Café at Ground Floor.

Can I bring large bag and suitcase in Gallery?

All bags and personal belongings larger than A4 size (e.g., backpacks, large
handbags, camera cases) must be stored in the lockers. Please enquire at
the Registration Desk should you wish to use the locker facilities.

Can I sketch in Gallery?

Sketching is allowed in the galleries using pencil only with sketchbooks must
be no larger than A4 size (21 × 29.7 cm). Easels, stools, and sitting on the floor
while sketching are not permitted during regular visits.
Prohibited Items
  • Illegal items or substances
  • Outside food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks
  • Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, or professional video equipment
  • Large or bulky objects
  • Wheeled items (except wheelchairs for visitors with mobility impairments)
  • Marking materials (only pencils are permitted for drawing and sketching)
  • Pets
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Hazardous materials
  • Drones or any flying devices
  • Portable speakers or any devices that amplify sound
  • Any other items that may pose a risk to the artworks or visitors
