What Song Do You Hear When You See This Painting is anexhibition that celebrates the pioneering spirit of Malaysia’s12 prominent artists. Their works are more than visual forms they are melodies painted in strokes and colours, songs translated onto canvas.

Bridging Generations: Old School X New Rules brings together a new generation of artists who respond to the artistic legacies of modern Malaysian masters. Inspired by the PETRONAS Art Collection, the exhibition explores how contemporary artists reinterpret ideas that have shaped Malaysian art history.

While many Malaysian artists still work with paint, plaster and fibres, many younger generation artists rely heavily on computer and software to create art. Known as digital artist – their technical skills and creativity explore and shift boundaries between virtual and real worlds.
