How many floors does GALERI PETRONAS have?

Once fully operational, GALERI PETRONAS will have four permanent levels. The Ground Floor of Ombak KLCC serves as the gallery’s main entrance and exit point. From there, visitors will ascend to Level 4 for ticketing, then descend through the gallery floors following a carefully designed journey that ends back at the Ground Floor. A detailed floor plan showing the visitor route is available on our website and at the entrance.

What is the visitor journey route?

Your journey begins at the Ground Floor entrance. After ticketing on Level 4, you explore the exhibitions starting from that level, then progress downwards through the gallery spaces (Level 3) and take the elevator to the Rooftop before descending back to Level 3 where you exit. This top-to-bottom flow is intentionally designed to create a natural, immersive experience through the gallery's narrative. Follow the floor signages or ask any of our friendly staff for guidance.

Where is ticketing located?

Ticketing is located on Level 4. After entering the gallery via the Ground Floor, take the lift to Level 4 where you will find the ticketing desk. You may also access the gallery directly via the Ombak KLCC mall entrance on Level 4. Purchase your ticket here before proceeding to your gallery experience.

How long does a typical visit take?

Most visitors spend 1.5 to 2.5 hours exploring the galleries as they descend through the floors. Self-guided visits typically take longer as you’re able to move at your own pace. Guided tours usually last from 1 to 1.5 hours and focus on highlights. Stops at the GALERI Café and GALERI Shop will add extra time if you plan to visit those spaces.

Does the gallery have a café and merchandise shop?

Yes, our GALERI Café is located on the Ground Floor and features interactive multitouch tables and seating beneath our iconic petal ceiling installation. For merchandise, we have the GALERI Shop located on Level 3. Both are easily accessible as you descend through the gallery floors.

Where do I start my visit?

Begin at the main entrance of Ombak KLCC on the Ground Floor. Register at the Information Desk, collect your floor plan and proceed to the lift. You will ascend to Level 4 where the ticketing counter is located. After purchasing your ticket, your gallery journey begins from Level 4 and descends through the exhibition floors, concluding back at the Ground Floor.

Is there a map of the gallery I can download?

Yes, a detailed interactive floor plan showing the complete visitor journey route is available on our website and can be downloaded to your mobile device before your visit. Physical floor plans are also provided at the Ground Floor entrance and Information Desk. The maps clearly indicate the top-to-bottom visitor flow and show all facilities and amenities on each level.

What happens after I descend through all the levels?

Your exhibition journey ends on Level 3, which is where you’ll exit the exhibition zone and proceed back to the Ground Floor. The GALERI Shop on Level 3 and GALERI Café on the Ground Floor remain accessible throughout your visit, allowing you to browse and rest before departing.

What should I do if I get lost during my descent?

Don’t worry, help is always nearby. Our staff members are positioned throughout the gallery on each level and will be happy to help orient you. Look for them or the nearest Information Point for directions. You can also check the floor plans which are displayed throughout the space, or follow the clear directional signage marking the visitor route.

Can I exit from any floor or only from Level 3?

The exhibition zone’s primary exit is at Level 3. During your journey, you will naturally descend to Level 3 and leave the exhibition area from there. You’ll then make your way back to the Ground Floor to exit the gallery. If you need to leave earlier, our staff can direct you to the nearest lift to Level 3.

Is the gallery accessible for visitors with disabilities?

Yes, GALERI PETRONAS is designed to be inclusive and accessible. The gallery features accessible lifts, accessible restrooms and designated spaces for visitors with mobility needs. Audio guides are available for visitors with visual impairments. We recommend contacting us in advance at galeripetronas@petronas.com or +603-2051 7770 if you require specific accessibility support.

During the First Glimpse preview phase, we present a specially curated introduction to our vision, with content that refreshes every three months through June 2027.
