Imagination of artists may emerge in various forms of imagery without any limitation to any matter whatsoever. In this case, the meaning of the drawing no longer adopts the definition of conservative and conventional, as we understood it before. Bonded by the modernist grip in spurring towards contemporary, this makes Malaysian masterpieces as how we see it nowadays.

Together with curator Volker Albus, the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen e.V. (ifa) presents new olds. Design between Tradition and Innovation, with sixty exhibits that explore the relationship between tradition and innovation in contemporary design.
